Incubateurs, accélérateurs, business angels… les possibilités d’accompagnement de start-up et scale-up sont nombreuses et très différentes. Focus avec Orange Fab, un accélérateur présent dans 14 pays, dont la Belgique et le Luxembourg, qui vise l’innovation et propose des partenariats commerciaux.

Orange Fab, Orange’s exclusive international accelerator network, kicked off its second edition in Belgium and Luxembourg this September. 45 start-ups and scale-ups submitted an application to participate. On October 1st, 10 start-ups presented their innovative products and services to a jury of professionals. Chatlayer, iReachm and Thingsplay were selected to officially participate in this second season of Orange Fab BeLux. The main objectives are to create a commercial acceleration between the start-ups and the Business Units of Orange Belgium and Luxembourg, to build a win-win business partnership and to help the start-ups grow thanks to the Orange’s worldwide footprint.

CommuniThings kondigde de commerciële lancering aan van de eerste Smart Parking-oplossing via NB-IoT-technologie, in samenwerking met Orange. De “Shop & Drive”-oplossing die in Luik wordt voorgesteld, helpt pendelaars parkeerruimte vinden via een mobiele app, terwijl een betere parkeerrotatie meer shoppers aanvoert. De Smart Parking-oplossing draait op het mobiele IoT-netwerk van Orange Belgium en gebruikt draadloze sensoren met een laag vermogen en open-data-applicaties voor inwoners, handelaars en gemeenten.
